Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 2.81% or 820 points to trade at 29980 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.40% or 72 points to end at 3072 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.69% or 22 points to 1325 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 3.12% or 650 points to trade at 20160 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) declined 2.45% or 86 points to end at 3424 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 2.44% or 4800 points to 191700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 270 to 217 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) rose to all time highs; up 2.81% or 820 to 29980.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.39% or 0.27 to $68.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.25% or 0.18 to hit $72.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.65 to trade at $1812.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.2082, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 3.7880.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 92.683.
