Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.57% or 146.00 points to trade at 3,339.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 2.94% or 4,580.00 points to end at 160,480.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.56% or 19.00 points to 1,237.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 7.14% or 400.00 points to trade at 5,200.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 4.67% or 122.00 points to end at 2,493.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 3.38% or 33.30 points to 952.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 314 to 163 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.21% or 1.27 to $103.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.69% or 0.74 to hit $106.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 8.05 to trade at $1,734.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.58% to 3.48, while EUR/ILS fell 0.45% to 3.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.92% at 107.81.
