Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 2.12% or 570.0 points to trade at 27420.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 1.92% or 136 points to end at 7219 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was up 1.33% or 410 points to 31200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which fell 3.51% or 155 points to trade at 4261 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 3.10% or 17.5 points to end at 547.0 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was down 2.27% or 175 points to 7540.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 287 to 120 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.28% or 0.83 to $65.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.74% or 0.51 to hit $69.40 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.40 to trade at $1344.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.4316, while EUR/ILS rose 0.78% to 4.2775.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 88.72.
