Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Financials and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 4.79% or 3,150.00 points to trade at 68,900.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.66% or 137.00 points to end at 3,877.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 3.44% or 5,930.00 points to 178,330.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1), which fell 4.95% or 191.00 points to trade at 3,670.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 4.43% or 163.00 points to end at 3,520.00 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was down 4.18% or 271.00 points to 6,220.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 383 to 113 and 32 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.94% or 2.24 to $117.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.63% or 4.29 to hit $122.40 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 20.05 to trade at $1,986.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.48% to 3.29, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.02% to 3.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 99.10.
