Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 1.84% or 450 points to trade at 24850 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 1.68% or 21 points to end at 1269 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.23% or 1600 points to 131500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 4.79% or 660 points to trade at 13110 at the close. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 4.32% or 4100 points to end at 90700 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was down 3.45% or 1490 points to 41700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 265 to 214 and 41 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.79% or 660 to 13110. Shares in Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.68% or 21 to 1269. Shares in Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.23% or 1600 to 131500.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.49% or 2.74 to $75.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.41% or 2.77 to hit $78.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 14.35 to trade at $1847.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.0963, while EUR/ILS fell 0.38% to 3.4929.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 96.075.
