Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 1.15% or 20.00 points to trade at 1761.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 1.10% or 87 points to end at 8007 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 1.08% or 130 points to 12130 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 1.85% or 120 points to trade at 6360 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 1.82% or 46 points to end at 2480 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) was down 1.52% or 2.7 points to 175.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 283 to 93 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.45% or 0.26 to $56.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.26% or 0.16 to hit $62.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 7.05 to trade at $1455.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.5028, while EUR/ILS rose 0.47% to 3.8655.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 98.045.
