Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.71% or 980.00 points to trade at 15,590.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 1.76% or 87.00 points to end at 5,024.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.71% or 104.00 points to 6,174.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 7.54% or 3,100.00 points to trade at 38,000.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 3.90% or 2,990.00 points to end at 73,700.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 3.09% or 167.00 points to 5,233.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 182 and 111 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.71% or 980.00 to 15,590.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.30% or 0.23 to $77.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.66% or 0.54 to hit $81.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.04% or 49.30 to trade at $2,366.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.46% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.61% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 104.03.
