Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which rose 5.10% or 520.00 points to trade at 10,720.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 4.40% or 1,360.00 points to end at 32,250.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 2.33% or 25.00 points to 1,099.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 2.92% or 1,080.00 points to trade at 35,900.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 2.85% or 91.00 points to end at 3,104.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 2.39% or 131.00 points to 5,342.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 318 to 143 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.27% or 1.74 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.22% or 1.84 to hit $80.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.62% or 48.95 to trade at $1,916.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS rose 1.37% to 3.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.00% at 103.11.
