Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 2.49% or 230 points to trade at 9460 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TA:POLI) added 2.35% or 60 points to end at 2613 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 2.00% or 310 points to 15830 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 34.99% or 720 points to trade at 1338 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) declined 2.22% or 29.0 points to end at 1276.0 and Mazor Robotics (TA:MZOR) was down 1.97% or 178 points to 8863.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 196 to 195 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.49% or 1.75 to $68.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.91% or 1.52 to hit $78.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.60 to trade at $1208.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.09% to 3.5719, while EUR/ILS rose 0.34% to 4.1701.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 94.63.
