Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 2.66% or 3,830.00 points to trade at 147,830.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 1.55% or 14.00 points to end at 943.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 1.33% or 78.00 points to 5,930.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 3.32% or 990.00 points to trade at 28,800.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 2.25% or 280.00 points to end at 12,170.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 1.37% or 34.00 points to 2,453.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 252 to 204 and 80 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.56% or 0.43 to $77.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.40% or 0.33 to hit $82.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 2.60 to trade at $2,037.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 104.01.
