Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed, Communication and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 3.41% or 179 points to trade at 5430 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 3.32% or 65 points to end at 2020 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 2.77% or 600 points to 22290 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 5.43% or 1450 points to trade at 25250 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 2.54% or 800 points to end at 30700 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 2.49% or 32 points to 1255.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 230 to 224 and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.33% or 0.21 to $63.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.31% or 0.21 to hit $66.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 9.15 to trade at $1771.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.57% to 3.2587, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.9219.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 91.097.
