Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which rose 2.09% or 167 points to trade at 8150 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 1.81% or 400 points to end at 22450 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was up 1.78% or 175 points to 9999 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 2.71% or 620 points to trade at 22250 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 2.69% or 81 points to end at 2929 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 2.46% or 47 points to 1865.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 253 to 126 and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.32% or 0.17 to $52.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.74% or 0.46 to hit $61.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1344.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.6086, while EUR/ILS rose 0.33% to 4.0530.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 96.933.
