Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TA:MLSR), which rose 3.72% or 660 points to trade at 18400 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) added 2.45% or 96 points to end at 4010 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) was up 2.22% or 45 points to 2075 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 7.10% or 20.7 points to trade at 271.0 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 2.48% or 28 points to end at 1100 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 1.97% or 18 points to 891.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 212 to 157 and 44 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.11% or 0.66 to $59.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.89% or 0.60 to hit $68.21 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.85 to trade at $1300.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.13% to 3.6109, while EUR/ILS rose 0.13% to 4.0979.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.938.
