Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 1.80% or 680 points to trade at 38490 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 1.21% or 610 points to end at 51070 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was up 0.80% or 0.3 points to 37.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TA:HARL), which fell 2.83% or 77 points to trade at 2644 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 2.45% or 370 points to end at 14740 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) was down 2.31% or 1110 points to 46860.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 261 to 120 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.31% or 1110 to 46860.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.61% or 0.45 to $73.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.86% or 1.47 to hit $77.76 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.50 to trade at $1248.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 3.6703, while EUR/ILS fell 0.29% to 4.2596.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 94.76.
