Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 2.05% or 580 points to trade at 28870 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) added 1.01% or 35 points to end at 3515 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) was up 0.90% or 71 points to 7921 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 6.04% or 116 points to trade at 1806 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 3.99% or 57 points to end at 1372 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was down 2.62% or 227 points to 8439.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 209 to 153 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.85% or 0.59 to $69.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $74.76 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.50 to trade at $1222.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.6517, while EUR/ILS rose 0.20% to 4.2570.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 94.47.
