Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Communication and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 2.99% or 239 points to trade at 8230 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 2.28% or 420 points to end at 18850 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 1.00% or 40 points to 4040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 2.28% or 640 points to trade at 27480 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) declined 2.15% or 380 points to end at 17310 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 1.98% or 44 points to 2175.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 221 to 156 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.78% or 0.53 to $68.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.27% or 0.20 to hit $73.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 10.30 to trade at $1217.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.30% to 3.6486, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 4.2376.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 95.17.
