Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.55% or 133 points to trade at 3056 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 3.82% or 37 points to end at 1014 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 2.23% or 2980 points to 136500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 4.84% or 432 points to trade at 8489 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) declined 2.66% or 188 points to end at 6867 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was down 2.20% or 260 points to 11540.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 360 to 146 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.40% or 0.35 to $88.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.34% or 0.30 to hit $89.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.90 to trade at $1807.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.83% to 3.1945, while EUR/ILS rose 2.04% to 3.6537.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 95.335.
