Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 2.93% or 64 points to trade at 2250 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 1.51% or 340 points to end at 22920 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 1.13% or 280 points to 25050 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 6.49% or 84 points to trade at 1211 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 3.34% or 106 points to end at 3070 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was down 2.26% or 193 points to 8351.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 286 to 194 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.13% or 280 to 25050. Shares in Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.26% or 193 to 8351.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.62% or 1.20 to $75.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.66% or 1.25 to hit $76.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 7.95 to trade at $1813.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.2830, while EUR/ILS fell 0.29% to 3.8786.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 92.532.
