Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which rose 2.74% or 170.00 points to trade at 6,377.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 2.66% or 35.00 points to end at 1,349.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 1.76% or 430.00 points to 24,850.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 4.08% or 3,800.00 points to trade at 89,320.00 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) declined 2.14% or 39.00 points to end at 1,783.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 2.03% or 44.00 points to 2,126.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 284 to 167 and 85 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.14% or 0.11 to $78.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.34% or 0.28 to hit $82.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 5.05 to trade at $2,190.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.48% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS rose 1.26% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 102.47.
