Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 2.02% or 46 points to trade at 2320 at the close. Meanwhile, Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 1.65% or 770.0 points to end at 47470.0 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 1.44% or 2.7 points to 190.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 3.00% or 250 points to trade at 8096 at the close. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) declined 2.66% or 1110 points to end at 40640 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was down 2.25% or 32 points to 1392.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 192 to 187 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.65% or 770.0 to 47470.0. Shares in Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.44% or 2.7 to 190.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.06% or 0.71 to $67.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.03% or 0.75 to hit $73.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.00 to trade at $1204.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.6842, while EUR/ILS fell 0.56% to 4.1899.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 96.33.
