Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shufersal (TASE:SAE), which rose 2.60% or 62 points to trade at 2447 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.10% or 121 points to end at 5870 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 1.74% or 38 points to 2218 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 3.10% or 2740 points to trade at 85760 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) declined 2.17% or 23 points to end at 1036 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was down 2.14% or 140 points to 6410.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 212 to 171 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.86% or 0.50 to $58.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.59% or 0.38 to hit $65.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.39% or 19.65 to trade at $1394.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.5750, while EUR/ILS fell 0.46% to 4.0397.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 96.292.
