Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 1.23% or 2.8 points to trade at 231.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) added 1.20% or 160 points to end at 13500 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 0.98% or 29 points to 2989 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 10.16% or 76 points to trade at 671 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 5.30% or 424 points to end at 7571 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 2.25% or 57 points to 2471.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 237 to 150 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.52% or 0.83 to $55.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.27% or 0.76 to hit $60.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 8.80 to trade at $1496.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.09% to 3.5286, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.9228.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.343.
