Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 2.48% or 163 points to trade at 6735 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 2.25% or 66 points to end at 2996 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 2.11% or 53 points to 2567 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 3.84% or 1660 points to trade at 41600 at the close. Shufersal (TASE:SAE) declined 3.58% or 91 points to end at 2454 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 3.06% or 1610 points to 51030.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 221 to 150 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.84% or 1660 to 41600. Shares in Harel (TASE:HARL) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.25% or 66 to 2996.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.09% or 1.20 to $56.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.06% or 1.30 to hit $61.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.81% or 27.95 to trade at $1512.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 3.5104, while EUR/ILS fell 0.25% to 3.8415.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.74% at 98.653.
