Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 6.94% or 73 points to trade at 1125 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 5.42% or 3100 points to end at 60300 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) was up 3.90% or 39.0 points to 1039.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 3.18% or 38 points to trade at 1157 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) declined 2.83% or 80 points to end at 2751 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was down 2.78% or 50 points to 1747.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 245 to 148 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; losing 3.18% or 38 to 1157. Shares in Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.83% or 80 to 2751. Shares in Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.90% or 39.0 to 1039.0.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.59% or 0.37 to $62.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.58% or 0.38 to hit $65.41 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 8.10 to trade at $1327.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.03% to 3.4567, while EUR/ILS fell 0.09% to 4.2852.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 89.64.
