Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 3.12% or 750 points to trade at 24770 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 2.57% or 610 points to end at 24310 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.05% or 32 points to 3090 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 2.52% or 82 points to trade at 3176 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 1.71% or 6.0 points to end at 344.5 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 1.47% or 67 points to 4483.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 294 to 167 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Melisron (TASE:MLSR) rose to all time highs; up 2.57% or 610 to 24310.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.59% or 0.44 to $74.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.57% or 0.43 to hit $75.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 5.05 to trade at $1805.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.2858, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 3.8943.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 92.263.
