Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 5.14% or 4,990.00 points to trade at 102,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.31% or 68.00 points to end at 2,125.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 1.54% or 2,510.00 points to 166,010.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 4.36% or 225.00 points to trade at 4,935.00 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) declined 3.67% or 113.00 points to end at 2,967.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was down 2.40% or 540.00 points to 21,960.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 200 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.29% or 3.11 to $69.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.92% or 3.02 to hit $74.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 18.95 to trade at $1,925.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.07% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 102.03.
