Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 6.19% or 77 points to trade at 1321 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) added 1.55% or 5.5 points to end at 361.0 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was up 1.47% or 44 points to 3044 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 3.06% or 104 points to trade at 3293 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 2.63% or 560 points to end at 20760 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 2.34% or 76 points to 3168.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 256 to 211 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.23% or 0.17 to $73.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.31% or 0.23 to hit $74.37 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 15.35 to trade at $1765.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.2546, while EUR/ILS fell 0.24% to 3.8746.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 92.032.
