Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which rose 3.45% or 19.1 points to trade at 573.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 1.86% or 590 points to end at 32390 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) was up 1.82% or 580 points to 32490 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 3.59% or 261 points to trade at 7000 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 3.40% or 53 points to end at 1507 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was down 2.52% or 790 points to 30610.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 238 to 159 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; losing 3.40% or 53 to 1507.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.42% or 0.27 to $63.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.58% or 0.40 to hit $68.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 9.90 to trade at $1329.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.72% to 3.4169, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 4.1806.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 90.37.
