Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 3.74% or 1,640.00 points to trade at 45,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 2.80% or 26.00 points to end at 954.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was up 2.32% or 203.00 points to 8,968.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 5.33% or 1,720.00 points to trade at 30,540.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 3.48% or 96.00 points to end at 2,666.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 2.94% or 59.00 points to 1,950.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 175 and 39 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.32% or 0.94 to $70.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.21% or 0.92 to hit $75.04 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 2.70 to trade at $1,975.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.73% to 3.58, while EUR/ILS fell 1.87% to 3.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.15.
