Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT), which rose 2.47% or 1250 points to trade at 51850 at the close. Meanwhile, Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 2.34% or 630.0 points to end at 27540.0 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.25% or 57 points to 2585 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which fell 2.42% or 770 points to trade at 31020 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) declined 2.22% or 44 points to end at 1936 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 2.11% or 370 points to 17170.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 206 to 163 and 41 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) rose to all time highs; rising 2.34% or 630.0 to 27540.0.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.42% or 0.84 to $58.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.15% or 0.72 to hit $61.87 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.20 to trade at $1330.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.5338, while EUR/ILS rose 0.93% to 4.3667.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 89.56.
