Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 2.17% or 71 points to trade at 3340 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 2.16% or 1530 points to end at 72450 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was up 2.02% or 33 points to 1670 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which fell 2.01% or 520 points to trade at 25400 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) declined 1.97% or 97 points to end at 4816 and Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) was down 1.76% or 950 points to 53050.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 233 to 138 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.14% or 0.08 to $56.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $62.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 3.15 to trade at $1453.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.13% to 3.5049, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 3.8609.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 98.140.
