Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 4.75% or 290 points to trade at 6390 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 1.90% or 610 points to end at 32660 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was up 1.54% or 40 points to 2644 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 3.82% or 1040 points to trade at 26160 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 3.54% or 690 points to end at 18810 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 3.39% or 52 points to 1484.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 203 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; up 1.90% or 610 to 32660. Shares in Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.54% or 40 to 2644.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.91% or 1.12 to $59.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.69% or 1.05 to hit $63.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 16.25 to trade at $1745.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.40% to 3.2959, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 3.9055.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 92.420.
