Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 3.03% or 203 points to trade at 6893 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TA:LUMI) added 2.45% or 53 points to end at 2220 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 2.36% or 58 points to 2512 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT), which fell 4.27% or 2120 points to trade at 47580 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) declined 2.90% or 79 points to end at 2647 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 2.88% or 35 points to 1182.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 209 to 184 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.71% or 1.06 to $60.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.54% or 1.01 to hit $64.48 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.40 to trade at $1319.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.4451, while EUR/ILS rose 0.15% to 4.2452.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 89.98.
