Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Communication and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which rose 3.21% or 151.00 points to trade at 4,851.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 2.82% or 124.00 points to end at 4,514.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was up 2.35% or 168.00 points to 7,330.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 3.47% or 2,420.00 points to trade at 67,390.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 2.86% or 790.00 points to end at 26,810.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 2.48% or 45.00 points to 1,768.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 261 to 196 and 81 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.58% or 0.40 to $68.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.57% or 0.41 to hit $72.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 12.01 to trade at $2,664.19 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.47% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.08% to 3.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 105.84.
