Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 1.53% or 48.00 points to trade at 3,185.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) added 1.48% or 3,060.00 points to end at 209,460.00 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was up 1.41% or 27.00 points to 1,943.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which fell 4.13% or 322.00 points to trade at 7,468.00 at the close. Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) declined 3.82% or 1,450.00 points to end at 36,550.00 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 3.02% or 780.00 points to 25,060.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 312 to 166 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.82% or 1,450.00 to 36,550.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.76% or 0.65 to $84.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.42% or 0.38 to hit $90.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.85 to trade at $1,655.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.67% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS rose 0.80% to 3.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 111.91.
