Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Oil & Gas and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 1.47% or 830 points to trade at 57220 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 1.40% or 320 points to end at 23190 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 1.36% or 129 points to 9599 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF), which fell 2.27% or 1110.00 points to trade at 47890.00 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) declined 1.87% or 16 points to end at 845 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was down 1.82% or 1290 points to 69550.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 217 to 181 and 25 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.22% or 0.13 to $59.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $64.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.55 to trade at $1464.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.4675, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 3.8357.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.625.
