Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which rose 2.76% or 500 points to trade at 18620 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TASE:LUMI) added 2.13% or 52 points to end at 2490 and Poalim (TASE:POLI) was up 2.05% or 56 points to 2791 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 2.54% or 1210 points to trade at 46350 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 2.52% or 1750 points to end at 67800 and International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF) was down 2.46% or 1180.00 points to 46710.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 200 to 178 and 36 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.22% or 0.13 to $59.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $64.27 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.65 to trade at $1469.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.4790, while EUR/ILS rose 0.62% to 3.8570.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 97.477.
