Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 2.26% or 1290 points to trade at 58400 at the close. Meanwhile, Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) added 1.66% or 860 points to end at 52700 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 1.49% or 43 points to 2930 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 2.35% or 12 points to trade at 519 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 1.84% or 1310 points to end at 70040 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 1.60% or 26 points to 1594.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 247 to 137 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to all time lows; falling 2.35% or 12 to 519.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.20% or 0.11 to $55.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $61.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 5.25 to trade at $1490.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.5263, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 3.9175.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.488.
