Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Communication and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.01% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 0.82% or 49 points to trade at 6055 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TA:SAE) added 0.54% or 14 points to end at 2612 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 0.60% or 34 points to 5735 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL), which fell 1.10% or 470 points to trade at 42250 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 0.98% or 3.1 points to end at 313.2 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 0.93% or 890 points to 95300.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 133 to 133 and 62 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.00% or 0.56 to $56.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.08% or 0.71 to hit $66.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.85 to trade at $1296.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.25% to 3.6196, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 4.0728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 97.273.
