Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 1.93% or 990 points to trade at 52190 at the close. Meanwhile, Partner (TA:PTNR) added 1.07% or 14 points to end at 1319 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 0.85% or 14 points to 1660 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which fell 1.88% or 150 points to trade at 7850 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.03% or 94 points to end at 9017 and Harel (TA:HARL) was down 0.98% or 26 points to 2615.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 216 to 148 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.88% or 150 to 7850.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.26% or 0.19 to $73.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $77.81 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1257.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.6489, while EUR/ILS fell 0.21% to 4.2477.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.38.
