Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.00%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 5.36% or 481 points to trade at 9451 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 3.15% or 2650 points to end at 86800 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 1.68% or 190 points to 11530 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 3.09% or 92 points to trade at 2883 at the close. Shufersal (TASE:SAE) declined 1.95% or 56 points to end at 2818 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.92% or 181 points to 9240.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 236 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.83% or 1.64 to $91.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.26% or 1.15 to hit $92.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 3.45 to trade at $1840.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.54% to 3.2237, while EUR/ILS rose 0.93% to 3.6963.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 95.295.
