Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 2.54%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which rose 19.29% or 1970 points to trade at 12180 at the close. Meanwhile, Paz Oil (TASE:PZOL) added 15.79% or 4070 points to end at 29840 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL) was up 12.91% or 11.1 points to 97.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (TASE:IFF), which fell 4.91% or 1960 points to trade at 37960 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 3.87% or 19 points to end at 470 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 3.38% or 1830 points to 52350.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 336 to 79 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to all time lows; losing 3.87% or 19 to 470.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.50% or 0.10 to $20.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.25% or 0.33 to hit $26.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.64% or 43.30 to trade at $1599.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.59% to 3.5482, while EUR/ILS fell 1.21% to 3.8952.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 99.515.
