Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 2.27% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 7.64% or 340.00 points to trade at 4,790.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 6.52% or 98.00 points to end at 1,600.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 6.49% or 8,770.00 points to 143,990.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.49% or 156.00 points to trade at 6,120.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 1.00% or 640.00 points to end at 63,350.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was down 0.99% or 130.00 points to 13,040.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 386 to 80 and 73 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.52% or 0.44 to $83.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.65% or 0.57 to hit $86.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.29% or 30.45 to trade at $2,399.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.16% to 3.69, while EUR/ILS fell 0.88% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 104.54.
