Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 2.14% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 9.86% or 2,550.00 points to trade at 28,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 7.11% or 382.00 points to end at 5,752.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 6.64% or 5,950.00 points to 95,510.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which fell 2.56% or 2,000.00 points to trade at 76,190.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 1.08% or 250.00 points to end at 22,990.00 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was down 1.01% or 18.00 points to 1,757.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 379 to 105 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.61% or 2.51 to $71.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.49% or 2.59 to hit $76.85 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 2.90% or 57.85 to trade at $2,055.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 1.12% to 4.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.86% at 101.59.
