Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 2.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 5.18% or 356 points to trade at 7228 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) added 4.97% or 497 points to end at 10490 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was up 4.95% or 99 points to 2097 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL), which fell 1.02% or 0.8 points to trade at 78.0 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.25% or 60 points to end at 24260 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 0.17% or 4 points to 2335.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 302 to 99 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.21% or 1.19 to $38.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 3.07% or 1.22 to hit $40.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 9.30 to trade at $1736.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.56% to 3.4571, while EUR/ILS fell 1.11% to 3.8928.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 96.987.
