Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 2.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 51.50% or 3542 points to trade at 10420 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp) added 28.64% or 85 points to end at 380 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was up 19.73% or 309 points to 1875 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL), which fell 14.79% or 1497 points to trade at 8623 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 9.57% or 69 points to end at 651 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was down 5.92% or 720 points to 11450.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 228 to 168 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) fell to all time lows; down 14.79% or 1497 to 8623. Shares in Melisron (TASE:MLSR) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.92% or 720 to 11450.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.34% or 0.39 to $28.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.76% or 0.53 to hit $29.52 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.59% or 38.50 to trade at $1525.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.39% to 3.8207, while EUR/ILS fell 0.44% to 4.1948.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.70% at 99.825.
