Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.90%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 4.93% or 1,170.00 points to trade at 24,880.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 4.76% or 1,300.00 points to end at 28,590.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was up 4.67% or 1,680.00 points to 37,650.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which fell 2.00% or 146.00 points to trade at 7,140.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.76% or 190.00 points to end at 24,970.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 0.20% or 9.00 points to 4,504.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 321 to 149 and 66 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.76% or 1,300.00 to 28,590.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.16% or 0.84 to $73.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.81% or 0.63 to hit $78.51 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 9.90 to trade at $2,016.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.74% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS fell 1.00% to 4.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 103.37.
