Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.78%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 7.87% or 80.00 points to trade at 1,097.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 6.87% or 445.00 points to end at 6,923.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was up 5.95% or 66.00 points to 1,175.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 1.75% or 90.00 points to trade at 5,060.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 1.68% or 240.00 points to end at 14,060.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 0.48% or 280.00 points to 58,220.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 363 to 130 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.10% or 0.08 to $76.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.19% or 0.16 to hit $82.68 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 11.55 to trade at $1,931.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.44% to 3.40, while EUR/ILS fell 1.04% to 3.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 101.41.
