Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.68%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 6.35% or 4,080.00 points to trade at 68,380.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 4.75% or 74.00 points to end at 1,632.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 4.54% or 620.00 points to 14,290.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI), which fell 1.29% or 190.00 points to trade at 14,550.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.04% or 47.00 points to end at 4,463.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 0.87% or 18.00 points to 2,052.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 347 to 106 and 86 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.26% or 0.92 to $73.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.02% or 0.78 to hit $77.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 15.55 to trade at $2,428.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.43% to 3.83, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 4.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 102.70.
