Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.67% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 6.42% or 1470 points to trade at 24350 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 5.51% or 157 points to end at 3008 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 5.18% or 1030 points to 20900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.03% or 72 points to trade at 3470 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 1.89% or 29 points to end at 1502 and Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) was down 1.03% or 150 points to 14350.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 354 to 84 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.72% or 1.89 to $52.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.44% or 1.87 to hit $56.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 3.33% or 63.70 to trade at $1849.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.24% to 3.1881, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.8968.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 90.023.
